10 $$$ Questions

  1. You are offered $1,000,000 for the following act: Before you are ten pistols -- only one of which is loaded. You must pick up one of the pistols, point it at your forehead, and pull the trigger. If you can walk away, you do so a millionaire. Would you accept the risk?
  2. Would you be given $10,000 for your own use or $100,000 to give anonymously to strangers? What if you could keep $1,000,000 or give away $20,000,000?
  3. For $20,000 would you go for three months without washing, shaving, brushing your teeth, or using deodorant? Assume you could not explain your reasons to anyone, and that there would be no long-term effect on your career?
  4. If you were helping to raise money for a charity and someone agreed to make a large contribution if you would preform at the upcoming fund-raising show, would you? If so, what would you preform? Assume the show would have an audience of about 1,000.
  5. On an airplane you are talking pleasantly to a stranger of average appearance. Unexpectedly, the person offers you $10,000 for one night of sex. Knowing that there is no danger and that payment is certain, would you accept the offer? For $100,000?
  6. For $1,000 would you be willing to stand up in a crowded restaurant and, for at least a minute, loudly berate a waitress from some trivial imperfection in the service? For $100?
  7. For $1,000,000 would you be willing to never again see or talk to your best friend?
  8. You are given $1,000,000 to donate anonymously to charity or to a stranger. How would you dispose of it?
  9. Would you be willing to eat a bowl of live crickets for $40,000?
  10. Would $50,000 be enough money to induce you to take a loyal, healthy pet to the vet to be put to sleep?

  12. 1. I would absolutely no take the risk of blowing my brains out for 1 million dollars but I know of people who probably would.
    2. That's a tough question. I think I would have to assess the circumstances at the time. I can't say for sure what I would do in these cases.
    3. Another tough question. I just might accept that challenge. I could use my finger to brush my teeth with water I suppose. I could find ways to clean myself, one would hope.
    4. Although I do have glossophobia, I could bring myself to overcome this if it's for a good cause. I would probably sing a song to VERY LOUD MUSIC. I have actually done karaoke after several drinks even though I have a terrible singing voice.
    5. If I wasn't married or if my husband went along with it, I MIGHT do it for $100K but not for 10K. I would most definitely for 1 million, if my husband agreed. I guess we all have our price. I would try my best to enjoy it also.
    6. Absolutely not.
    7. Absolutely not.
    8. I would hope I could use it to start a ranch for orphans. I would like to help children or young people of any age have a secure place to live. A working ranch where they could help sustain it would give them confidence and working helps provide a sense of purpose.
    9. Of course.
    10. Absolutely not. Debora Attalla

  13. I think that I would accept the risk; because in the case the stakes are more on your side.
If I truly had the choice I would choose to keep the 10,000$. But I would choose to give away 20,000,000$ over keeping the 1,000,000$ because 1,000$ wouldn’t make a difference to the world. 1,000,000 would make a little dent in my world. And 20,000,000$ would make a larger dent in everyone’s world. Even though there would be no effect on my career; I don’t think I would remain sain for three months with no type of hygiene. I would perform because it’s a simple cause. I would have to get over stage fright and I would defiantly have to learn how to do something worth perfo0rming but I wouldn’t defiantly be willing to do that. I truly would not and my number one reasoning. I’m not a prostitute. For a 100$ yah right, I would definitely not be that person for only 100$! For 1,000,000$ no way friendship is how I maintain my sanity. I would find a high school student working her but off for her future and slip it into her locker. I would give it a try! But there is no guarantee with live creatures! And no way if I found a person willing to commit this act I would induce that person!

  15. 1. Your basically playing Russian roulette with a twist…I don’t have the courage for Russian roulette and I definitely wouldn’t take a 1/10 chance of shooting my brains out for a million dollars. Money is an important part of life, but you have to live in order to get the money-let alone enjoy it. So, NO I wouldn’t accept the risk.
    2. I would take the $10,000 and/or the million dollars. I might donate some to charity, but what person wouldn’t take an opportunity like that to improve their own life.
    3. NO! I am OCD when it comes to personal hygiene, so I don’t care what amount of money you would offer me, I am taking a bath!
    4. Yea, I guess so. I am not good with public speaking; however if someone is going to pay a large amount to a charity just for me getting up on stage then why not? I would be super nervous but it would be a good learning experience that helps someone else too.
    5. NO, not going to happen…I am not a prostitute.
    6. Sure why not. But after I thoroughly embarrassed the waitress I would give her half the money I got; I am sure she would be ok with it after I explained it to her and gave her money. I am not going to publicly humiliate someone for money if they aren’t going to profit from it too.
    7. No. If you are willing to sacrifice the happiness your best friend brings to your life, then you are going to be a lonely millionaire.
    8. I would divide the money up and donate it to charities or facilities that feed hungry children within our country.
    9. NO! If that was the case then I would sign up for fear factor-not going to happen!
    10. Not unless they were old and dying or sick beyond healing. Otherwise, that is inhumane and heartless. Again, if you are willing to sacrifice the love and happiness a pet brings you then you are going to be a cold, lonely person with money. Not to mention $50,000 is going to get you very far!

  16. 1. I wouldn’t risk losing my life for just the fact of receiving money.
    2. I would take the ten thousand and walk away.
    3. I would not take away my health just for money.
    4. I would prepare for the speech even though I would be nervous, yet in the end the out come would be great for the charities.
    5. I would except the offer if only knowing the person, and if I felt the same way about her I would never take the money though.
    6. I would never make anyone feel horrible just for money I would never embarrass someone like that.
    7. Yes because in the end you never end up with all the same best friends growing up through life and if I did I would split it with him.
    8. I would find the right stranger outing them thru a series of questions and getting to know them then I would willingly give them the money.
    9. If it was a couple maybe, but a bowl Im not so sure about.
    10. No because the Vet would never do that to a pet if it is not in pain or dying slowly.
