  1. When I was a child a monster was a scary creature that would "terrorize" me at night. After growing up and realizing how sick the world is, a monster to me is someone or something that inflicts pain and strikes fear into others. For example, parents that are murdering their children for no reason are monsters. There are plenty of real life monsters in our physical world that we don’t need worry ourselves over make believe monsters.

  2. I think everyone has their own monsters. I think that monsters are things that can rule your life in a negative way by consuming your thoughts and fears. Monsters are things that scare people or haunt them. I think they can be real or not real, depending on the person.

  3. A monster is someone our parents taught us to be scared of and stay away from. Whether it is living down the street or hiding under the bed, it is not someone we want to have an encounter with. When I think of a monster, I see a grizzly, slobbery creature prowling the woods for its next victim.

  4. A monster is someone or something that the rest of the world is afraid of and does not accept. I think a monster is a creature full of evil, anger, and hate. When I think of a monster, I think of a ginormous animal that looks disgusting and could kill you easily. A monster could also be something mental, that a person can't overcome.

  5. Monster is hard to define. It is essentially a word of negative connotation but are there really monsters? In real life someone considered a villain are usually called monsters for their evil ways but usually for them their “evil” is justified. Monsters for me only truly exist in fictional worlds and stories where they roam in all different shapes and forms. Just like in the kid stories.

  6. In my opinion a "moster" is a mysterious creature that is not well known. Monster can give you mixed or unusual thought and feelings because not all monsters are bad. Monsters can be good, or kind. Monsters to someone else may be petrifying, but I dont believe its always true.

  7. A monster to me is a thing/animal so gross and scary that you never want to come in contact with. You would have nightmares for months after coming in contact with it. Monsters can't be nice, they are mean and care about nothing. They eat anything and everything it comes in contact with. It would reek so bad you can smell it coming from miles away. People can't put the monster in a category with any type other type of animal. It is its own creature.

  8. A monster to me is simply something that you have trouble figuring out what kind of "person" it is. Having abnormal features and does not communicate or survive the same as a human would. Most of all it must have bad intentions, or some kind of scare to it.

  11. Monster is a term that can mean different things to different people. To me a monster is something heinous and despicable. Something or someone that when even a thought about it comes to mind ,it shakes me to my core. A monster may produce fear just by its presence or by its actions. A monster to me typically symbolizes something of evil nature and makes me
    feel insecure and uneasy.
My monster isn't always scary in appearance, but what makes my monster
a monster is usually is determined by its questionable behaviors.

  12. A monster to me is what we used to be scared of when we were kids. It was an imaginary animal or creature that you believe hid in your closet or under your bed. It was that one thing that kept you up at night or made you had to sleep with your lights on. Yet it was a creature of your imagination that you had dreams about to.

  13. My monster interpretation would be like something scary, probably big in size, and ugly. Usually monster hid in scary dark places such as under your bed or in your closet at night. When the word monster comes to mind there is so many possibilities that jump in to my head. There’s the horrible political monster usually ugly, and mean as well. You can usually find these monsters in close proximity to our government officials.

  14. When I picture a monster, I picture a monster from the famous Pixar movie Monsters Inc. I picture some to be friendly while others are quite evil. When the word, “monster” pops into my head I picture the lives that each of the characters live and how their lives are somewhat similar to our lives. Silly, I know. :)

  15. Sorry, I thought I clicked publish button but apparently I didn't.
Monster for me is something negative, ugly or strange to see or to fear. Monster can be anything from human, animal, alien, evil... anything that is not normal in our ordinary eye. Since I was a child, I thought there were monster that would come up at night and eat me if I would be a bad child, while growing up I realized that there is no such things, but in fact human being can be the worst monster we ever could met. If we have fear of the animals, or the animals would attack us with no mercy, then that is ok because they don't think or have a brain, they just have instincts and if they are hungry then they will attack. Instead, humans do think and yet - they can hurt the most... not necessary like battery sometimes words hurt the most.

  16. A monster to me is a person of evil. It may be evil beliefs or evil doings. In every story there is a "monster". They are villains and people of bad nature. Monsters are also characterized by ugliness, unnatural, or malformed humans. They can be alien like or even animalistic. Many different definitions can be monstrous in their descriptions. I see monsters in our everyday life. I am talking about people who look normal, but you can just tell something is wrong with the way they stare through you.
