--Paper #1 (1000-1250 words)
--strict MLA style (or it will not be accepted)
--Must use at least two database sources (in addition to the text sources in your textbook)
--Develop a concept of "the monster" or "the monstrous" (you may use synonymous words if you wish)
--Tie your two chosen stories (using ideas, quotations, and paraphrasing) into the thesis of your paper
--At least 1/2 of the paper should be close analysis of the stories
--Your paper will be uploaded to a Turnitin drop box in our D2L class account, not printed.

--Make sure you have read your two chosen stories.
--Post to the class blog where indicated before 2/5.
--No extra readings other than 1/29 homework.
