  12. Honestly, I did not learn too much from the reading. Instead, it was more of just a review for me personally. However, I do have ten of my favorite terms. They are as follows;
    • Tragedy and comedy; because these are two of my favorite genres.
    • Denouement, in medias res, and deus ex machina; because I love how these terms are from a different language yet are used to describe the English language.
    • Bildungsroman; because this was a new word for me and I greatly respect its definition.
    • Historical Fiction; this is my absolute favorite genre!
    • Short short story; I have heard of a short story, but have never heard of a short short story before!
    • Episode; normally when I think of this word I think of a tv show, but I didn’t know that it was also used to describe works!
    • Discriminated Occasion; this was also a new word and I love its use to describe something specific.
    So I guess I did learn a bit!
